Since a Healing Touch intervention can create pathways from deep within that provide the opportunity for the individual to move to increased health and wholeness, these sessions also assist individuals to come in touch with their spiritual core and move in ways that are personally more meaningful to them. It is for this reason that these sessions are considered a form of spiritual direction or spiritual companioning. It is because of the spiritual focus of the session that an individual can be assisted to move to a new level of consciousness.
