Our Wheaton Franciscan Affordable Housing ministry has, from its outset, been God’s work – impacting ourselves and those we serve beyond our dreams. Immersed in God’s love and with support of my community it has always seemed that I have been able to be and do more than I ever dreamed. My journey as a Franciscan Sister has been rich and joyful – teaching, bridging - youth and retreat work - and then living and working with the poor for almost thirty-five years. Initially, I idealistically desired to give and care selflessly for all our people. As my life has unfolded in deepening love of God and in service I have been awed at what I always receive and learn. Inspired and deeply humbled, I search my soul and examine my choices and motives. In this life I have grown in every way as I walk with, live with pray with and experience the many faces of God.
